When 343 Took over, What happened to the effects?

This is one of the things I miss about reach were the effects you could buy, it seems like when 343 took over they took that fun aspect out of it. I still love halo but do you guys think they should bring it back?

You should still be able to buy armour effects like Pestilence and Grunt Birthday party.

What you cant get is Blue Flames as that was a gift from Bungie and not passed on to 343 when they took over management of the game.

Yeah but i’m talking about like the thunder effects and all that, I havent seen anything about those for halo 4, mcc, or 5

Reach was just that kind of game, big on customisation

Ahh I get where your coming from now. Yes I too would have preferred to see those effects in Halo 4 instead of ridiculous looking helmets like Fotus.

They couldn’t have been put into MCC though without a major re write of code and that was never going to happen.

The explosions were just very weak.

Thats understandable, I was just stating that you havent really seen them around, I wish they would of done it with Halo 5.

Halo 4 was definitely lacking in customization compared to reach, and im not holding my breath for Halo 5 (though I like the idea of REQ packs). If we made enough noise about it then maybe they’d add them back into Halo 6, but there isn’t much reason now.

They can bring back a few things, I know its 343i Now, but Firefight & these kill effects are what I REALLY want to see, Grunt Birthday was favorite.

343 Doesn’t understand the concept of laughable enjoyment as it doesn’t help their quest towards esports.
