Whelp with what just happened to someones map

Its basically confirmed that when infection returns we are going to get the halo 5 zombies ie just painted green

God forbid a map has a bit of gore in a series that the first game has a mangled corpse in it also with a species known for its body horror

They’re concerned about the wrong things with this game, sometimes.

343:Oh no blood and dead bodies get that out of here but please ignore the fact that the series has a species known for its body horror or the fact the very first game had a mangled corpse in it

Oh it’s fine when you completely atomize that guy with hardlight. No blood… just dust and echoes.

343: ok from now on people die of exhausting not from bleeding or getting shot in our games we cant have any blood if the player shoots the body make sure it shoots dirt out of the body

Oh god it’s like the NES Mortal Kombat sweat all over again.

Did you say Dustin Echoes? How’s that guy doing?

Traumatized as usual. Like most clones are.

Curious to know how the T rating and “broader audience” thing has been working out for them lol

Oh he’s gone. Completely atomized. He was the first test for our new hardlight corpse deletion effect.

This was a bad decision on 343’s part. 343 needs to stop making bad decisions and start making good decisions.

In this situation, there definitely should not have been any kind of restriction. I’m pretty sure those ratings guidelines only cover officially, developer made content. So things like 343 made content and not just maps made by the community and brought over to official matchmaking.

If 343 wants to showcase any kind of rationality and competency, they would reverse ban/deletion immediately. But I guess 343 is allergic to making good decisions.

343, as the great Michael Jordan once said, sometimes you just got to stop it, and get some help.

Think about your kids. Think about yourselves. Think about how decisions like these will affect your bottom line. Decisions like these will make Halo Infinite less fun than it already is. It will push players away from this game and away from gaming altogether. It will be a world without happiness. Do you want a world without happiness?

This is an objectively wrong and very bad decision on 343s end. Nothing uncommon tho

Confusing title

Anyways. Obviously 343 wasn’t going to have any gore. Just because it is infection doesn’t mean they will toss their target rating out the window.

Based!

That’s it. That’s the post.

Oh. I thought I had purged that from memory. I thankfully bought the game on my Sega, but I remember gaming magazines mocking it.

It’s still baffling to me that violence is okay, but blood is the line…

Not to derail this thread, but Micheal Jordan isn’t dead. Great yes, late no.

They made it (Rated T) for sales.

It should have always remained (Rated M)

This really sucks because I have a friend working on a 1:1 Valhalla remake and when he finds out about this. He’s gonna wanna quit since making progress has been an uphill battle for him since Forge launched now he potentially risks getting his map deleted and banned for something trivial.

He shouldn’t have to be worried about getting banned if he’s just remaking a map.
What he should be worried about is Forge/File sharing bugging out and being unable to upload their map and having wasted all his time.
