Ever since the last update, wheelman medals are being recorded as assists sometimes. Last night, I earned about 100 wheelmans in about five games, but only got 56 recorded as wheelmans, and the rests were recorded as assists. I have not been able to discern any pattern for what makes them become assists. At first I thought it was when a gunner’s kill was assisted by another player, but it happens sometimes even when the gunner is isolated from teamshot.
Is anyone else noticing this? Other members of my community and Spartan Company have been noticing this trend as well. We’re the Halo Wheelmen, so warthogs are our thing.
