Any reason why wheelman medals do not count towards assists anymore? It’s already underwhelming being a driver… there should at least be a “Wheelman Spree” etc.
No wonder i get no assists when my gunner has a ton of kills

It’s probably more of an oversight more than anything but they removed killing AI in warzone from being added to your kills.
Therefore it shouldn’t be difficult to have these included as assists.
People nowadays think for some reason that an assist is only when you directly damage an enemy and have a teammate kill them. But an assist has been given in past Halo’s for wheelmen, distractions, emp’s, etc. So why is it not the same now?

The team is aware, and have been since November. I don’t understand why it hasn’t been fixed yet, or why we haven’t been updated since.
Do wheelman medals move you towards upgraded Req? If not that should be fixed
