If you go on Episode 1 - Mission 1 of Spartan OPS , you spawn near a Guas Warthog. You need two people, one to drive (the one that will get the commendation) and a shooter. Slowly progress threw the mission killing everything with the turrent. After the few sessions both you and your partner (After taking turns) will have the Commendation maxed.
If you look under my Service Record mine is nearly there.
Once you attain “Wheelman - Master” commendation, you’ll get the Aviator B.O.N.D. armor unlocked.

WRONG! Abusing is doing something improper and mistreating it(even if it’s something they gave you to do).

If you just did it once or twice to play, then yeah, it’s what the game was made for, going the extra mile to do it over and over, then you’re abusing the system, no matter how you look at it.

and you don’t need a firend at all, just jump in the SPOPS matchmaking system for land grab and drive the gauss hog
assuming you’re not mentally deficient or have bad team mates the hog will easily survive the entire match

Anyway where were we, the way these posts above me look. It’s not abusing. Your saying if I complete a challenge I am abusing the game? And before you shout “NO!” It very well appears to what you are saying. If you go the extra mile? Isn’t that what Commendations and Challenges are all about.
And OK I will even do you this. It is Abusing. But who cares? 343 doesn’t care, other players don’t care, and I am sure I know I don’t care.

So you are only supposed to play Spartan Ops x amount of times? Im pretty sure Spops was meant to be played multiple times, not just once or twice.
Um one of the challenges is to kill 10 Hunters, when most spec ops only has 2 on the map, so you are required to run it over and over again till you get it, so to max out your wheelman Commendations you 100% need to run it as many times as you can, if you also notice the Commendations for wheelman is under the Vehicle Commendations witch means you can achieve this by not only War Games but also Spec ops and campaign, and you are required to run it as many time as you can till you max it, if you choice to do it with a friend or solo that’s up to your, to call playing the game the way its meant to be abusing, you sir are an idiot, as I achieved this Commendation just today with a friend trying to complete the challenge Harvesting Hunters, 2 hunters per match there was two of us we ran it ten time, boom I got it, tell me how it that abusing the game…
Its nevertheless knowingly taking repeated advantage of things. Commendations like Wheelman were set up for the likes of being earned over time in wargames, where there’s some actual risk and player-role to it.
Not to be mastered in the matter of a day.
It’s abuse in the same way as playing certain spartan ops missions over and over, and over because they give four times the EXP of a wargames match - for the same amount of time spent.

Building my own forge level, setting all players to spawn at the same location, no teams, invite 7 of my best target dummy Xbox Live friends, ask them to stand perfectly still, no time limit, no lives limit, spawning all available weapons in the game, killing and killing and killing my dear little friends for hours and hours JUST to get Weapon Commendations and Spartan Kill commendations…

Play SpOps 1:1 several times (with friend or in matchmaking) to get Wheelmaster. Play SpOps 2:3 several times to kill 10 hunters for daily challenge.

Woah woah woah…you can get the multiplayer commendations in custom games too?
That’s it! I’m going to make a classical game mode and invite friends for some AR/Pistol starts and have a retro deathmatch! I can relive the good old days and I don’t have to contend with those bozo precision weapon hogs. Win/win
will the splatter commendation work in specops???
I don’t think you can boost weapon commendations in private custom games… Buy if you can, I’m boosting the hell out of assassinations 
I’m not that low to get bunch of friends together and do it in regicide. Not worth the risk of getting banned.
