What's your sensitivity setting?

I play on 10/10 sensitivity with 5/5 acceleration. I’ve always played on max sensitivity in all games I play because I’m used to how fast my mouse moves when I play PC games.

What do you play with and how do you think it effects your play style? Would increasing or decreasing help/hurt you in the short/long term?

i play on 3 sense 4 accel. Consistency is what you want in a game like halo.

7 because Bungie. To be honest I’m not sure how it affects my play style, because I’ve kept it that way since I started playing Halo.

Since I’m so used to it, changing it might screw me up in the short-term, but I have no idea about the long-term effects.

True, I think that’s why I’ve never seriously bothered to change mine (aside from when I’m drinking and need to make a slight adjustment for my sloppy stick movements). The lowest I’ve gone is 6 sense with 4 accel. Anything lower and I feel like I’m always getng killed from behind because I can’t turn around fast enough.

The only change where I was confident enough to find out the longterm effects was when I swched my button layout from recon to bumper jumper. It helped a lot, though I struggled at first for a long time. Often times I wonder what will happen if I commit to a new sensitivity.

Sometimes I think this is also something I should do, as I’ve been in situations where I want to attempt to board a vehicle, but also move freely. When the button to board is X, you can’t really hold it down while simultaneously moving the right control stick…

If you’re used to playing at 10, I can’t imagine how that would be helpful

you can turn around fast enough its not instant but you turn around pretty fast with 4 accel and you get better consistency when you do turn around to land your shots.

2 horizontal/2 vertical/2 accel

I think I have it at 3 horizontal, 2 vertical, 1 look acceleration.

EDIT: Checked it in-game today, actually have it at 3 H, 1.5 V, 1 LA.

Default I never changed it the only thing I changed was the dead zone which I put both to 0
