Whats your latest forge project?

Just as the subject say’s. What is your latest forge project? Whether its a map, maze, art, or whatever it is, if its a forge project lets hear it.

My latest is a map pack of three maps. Still underwraps on what they are, all will be revealed when the time comes. Would like to see what the rest of the waypoint community has up their sleeves.

An Infection map. If all goes well, it’ll be balanced for both sides, it’ll be split-screen compatible, and its aesthetics will be… unique.

A parkour inspired Asymmetrical map built for objetive gametypes like 1 Bomb or Infection

i have a small one for slayer and infection…still working out some bugs and moving somethings… put up a vid of it on you tube just called it radio station cause of the antenas…will be placing it for testing in a week i hope

how did the alpha run go? you nenver told us of any problems other than that death barrier on the wall.

Infected Labyrinth 2.1 A zombie map. Zombies spawn on top of a grid above a maze, and drop down on the sides to attack humans.

You guys were the alpha run. I found the softkill/softsafe issues and fixed those, in addition to adding a small structure (with some help from kavemanr). I’ll need to run another alpha whenever I get the chance.

Completely redesigning my latest map (not Request Denied but a new one; cheap ad FTW!) because I ran out of normal building blocks. Had used up 100 of them and now need to replace walls built from them with other stuff, mostly Brace (Large) and Tunnel (Long).

working on finishing zeta jungle, after which ill be working on a sanfransisco rush race map, with shortcuts and building asethetic.

sorry i didnt type that up correctly, i knew we were the alpha, i just wanted to know how you thought it went.

I am finished with my Jedi Temple map, I am just waiting to gather enough people for a solid map test. It is made for slayer, swat and ffa.

This past month I’ve been so busy!

-I made an Invasion map with unique asthetics that looks like a huge temple. Where is it located? On the rock (people said it was impossible!)

-I made two ODST drop pod maps. The first one wasn’t consistent enough and didn’t look enough like a ship. My second one is gorgeous with two 100% working ODST drop pods, and a real interior to the ship. The ship itself is a new design I made for a UNSC craft. It looks unique and menacing, and it is especially designed for ramming enemy ships to bloody bits (and it looks as so)

-I also made an asymmetrical map called Convict. It’s really pretty and has a really cool gravity lift on it! Not sure how it plays because I’ve only tested it with 2v2, but that match seemed to go very well.

-Made a symmetrical map, taking aspects from Midship, Narrows, and Damnation (they told me that was impossible too!) This one plays extremely well and I have taken it upon myself to call it my baby. Her name is Crossbar.

-Made two race maps (one tournament, one for fun gameplay)

-Made two mini-game maps

  1. Trenchball: Featured in the Coliseum, Zombies spawn on a high platform stretched across the length of the walls, with unlimited plasma 'nades. They cannot jump off or else they will die. Humans spawn on the opposite wall with a horde of Mongeese (Mongooses?). Their objective is to drive around and try not to get stuck!

  2. Can’t remember the name. You are stuck in a collapsed mine and you must find the way to freedom, but it’s not over there. Explore the remainder of Forge World for clues on how to bring yourself closer to the hidden territory. Solve all the clues and you will be teleported to it, and capture it for the win. The mine portion of this map is incredibly pretty and realistic. There is seemingly unilimited secret passages, so try not to get lost! You have 10 minutes to complete the challenge.

My project I’m currently working on is going to be a symmetrical Med-sized map, featuring some neat glass elevators for both sides (pretty!).

Wow great to see people still working hard with the forge. I was busy over summer with the kids I didn’t have much time for forge let alone gaming period. Well the last couple weeks I have been working on 3 but main focus has shifted to 1 for now. Keep it flowing we are listening here. :slight_smile:

I’m beginning a new map inspired by the architectural styles in Harry Potter’s Hogwarts (<3 Emma Watson). School is slowing down the progress of the map by a lot, but with any luck, the alpha version will be done soon.
