I personally think Halo 5: Downfall will be great because I think that Chief will fail to protect Earth and it gets destroyed, causing Chief be overwhelmed with shame and he will go AWOL, to pursue his quest to revive Cortana, because his life before as a hero and protector of Earth will be destroyed. With nothing left and nothing to lose, he is also now extremely lethal because the consequences of his actions will not matter anymore. I also think the subtitle ties in with the darkness of the game.
I’d prefer just Halo 5, but Downfall sounds cool.

I’m really hoping its just Halo 5. Downfall wouldn’t be bad, but Halo hasn’t needed extra names, the numbers say it all just fine. This whole ‘Halo xbox one’ thing they keep using makes me worry they’re just using it as a vehicle to sell the xbox one. (That works, but they don’t have to mess up the title just to do it.)

I agree with the numbers. Just seeing Halo “2” and Halo “3” was enough to get me going crazy.
