I’m sorry, but I fail to see what is wrong here.
Can anyone elaborate?
no problem at all.
There is nothing wrong if you are a sensible person. I have no qualms with BR hitscan. Pray derpy bullet spread doesn’t get tacked on.
Of course if you are a CE pistol purist, you will hate EVERYTHING 343 is doing with Halo. Including BR w/hitscan. Same goes for bloom lovers
There is no problem. <3

Yeah, I dont get what everyone is tripping over looks down yup theres nothing here…
I think it’s fine, it will force you to be more careful, and still depend on player skill to keep the recoil low or to keep the shots going where you want them.
a high recoil would balance out the BR in comparison to other weapons. No problem with it
No problem with hitscan
No problem so long as recoil doesn’t make the BR anywhere near as random as the Halo 3 BR.
Very happy with hitscan actually.

Agreed here, return of the Halo 2 BR without the button glitches would be amazing, which by the looks of it, is what we are getting with slight recoil.
I personally have a preference with Bullet travel. It gives a little bit of depth to the game that can be learned after you played the game enough times.
With that said, I’d much rather have Hitscan if Bullet travel will only lag the game. Halo 3 was a prime example of why I support Hitscan as well as it made BTB, a personal favorite, mostly unplayable without seeing a black screen often. Second to game-breaking glitches, lag and completely stopping the game for a few seconds kills the mood entirely.
If it can work, do Bullet travel. If not, do Hit-scan, and give something players will need to learn that is consistant and can be learned over time. Recoil seems like a much fairer solution as it can be more predictable than Bloom, and much fairer than the Bullet Spread that the BR had in H3. Even more control to the player so that if they didn’t get those 3 bullets in the burst in, its the players inability to control the gun, not the game.

Um, if we get Halo 2 levels of aim assist and magnetism, no thanks.
Any mechanic that forces players to fight it itself is a bad mechanic. I’m not here to fight my gun, I’m here to frag my opponents. As for hit-scan, well, there’s no qualm from me there.

As I said, the Halo 2 BR, not the aim assist linked in the game or magnetism.

So, trying my best not to start a flame war, you want a gun that just stays on target instead of slight recoil, wow, sounds amazingly fun.

God forbid bullets go where you actually shoot them…

Yeah, because bullets all go in a perfect straight line, hey, let’s make an already powerful weapon, even more powerful.
No thanks.
There is no problem.
This is what people clamored about for months in regards to Reach
We get it, and they still can’t stop complaining.
