Onyx. Both before, when it was a planet for the S-IIIs, and now, as the giant solar-system eating shield world.
I REALLY hope we get a sequel to Legacy of Onyx sometime…
I’m still stuck in Blood Gulch - however so fond!
Man given the lore on Zeta Halo, it seems like the most interesting and intriguing place in the universe. I mean, it came from the original 12 halo rings, Mendicant Bias’ core is just sitting there somewhere (with a ton of his fragments gone but still), and the Primordial’s death site deep within the Halo somewhere. Not to mention all the experiments that happened on the ancient humans. The ring is also all messed up from the emergency trip it made from the forerunner capital.
Other than Zeta Halo, probably the forerunner capital Maethrillian. It just looks badass and seems enormous kind of like High Charity.
…lastly probably the greater ark because it would be awesome to see the first original ark.
Prior to the Fall of Reach, I’d of picked Reach as it just looked like a really interesting planet to be on from both a civilian standpoint (looking at the different cities there), as well as from a military standpoint with it being the former military powerhouse of the UNSC.
However, with that said, I’d have to go with Onyx. As a Spartan-III fanatic it wouldn’t be right for me to pick any other place other than that birthplace of the Spartan-IIIs
Reach always seemed like a pleasant planet. A shame it had to go the way it did.
Though if I had to choose, I would love the island from Silent Cartographer. A little island all of its own with little pockets of forests and temple. It’d be nice, I think.
