Hey all! I’ve been reading so many posts regarding the broken battlepass, aim assist, player collision, etc… all great discussions, with some really fantastic points being made. But I need a break. I want to hear some wins.
What epic plays have you pulled off? What was a moment that made you feel like a SPARTAN? Maybe a moment that made you go “I didn’t even know you could do that!”
I’ll go first! So I’ve only played a few hours, and I am by no means an amazing player in general… so for some of you, this may seem old hat/typical tuesday type of occurrence, but my favourite moment so far was using the grapple shot to swipe the sniper right out from in front of an enemy player, lol a perfect YOINK! moment!
Today I managed to get in a wraith and did surprisingly well in it. 24 kills that match, probably the highest I’ve ever gotten. Felt pretty good. For smaller moments though, I managed to estroy a full enemy warthog with the gravity hammer. Most satisfying triple kill I’ve gotten in a looong while.
Earlier today I had the most exciting CTF game I’ve ever had. Both teams were very balanced and I had a very competitive, nail-biting game that remained tied 1x1 until the very last few seconds when sadly the enemy team managed to score. I didn’t even get sad about losing because of how fun and satisfying it was.
In other game I was also able to copy a cool move I watched someone smarter than me do first in a video: I grapplejacked a warthog and drove it to the border of the map, quickly abandoned the vehicle and was able to return safely using my grappleshot, while the enemy gunner fell for his death.
outstanding!!! now that’s the Halo I know and love!! Edge of your seat, one eye on the clock, adrenaline levels off the charts kinda games!
Also, that’s cool AF! I did that the other day too… except I did not have a grappleshot… I did not survive. lol.
