For MP the most complete in my opinion is Halo 5

Halo 3 and Halo 2 Anniversary actually. Been caught up with those two. Reach is alright, I dont know if its MCC but its not as I remembered…

Halo 3 has remained my favorite MP experience of the franchise. I grew up playing H2 with friends late into the night, but H3 was the first time I really got into the Xbox Live scene. The game play was fun and challenging. The addition of equipment required more strategy and tactics. Overall it was just so much fun to hop on and play a few rounds. I’ve yet to find a Halo game or any other game that was as fun and satisfying to play as H3.

Reach and H5.

Halo 5 for competitive is very stable the game, and for fun any of MCC

For me it’s Halo Reach.

Halo 3

It’s the perfect blend between halo ce and halo 2, balanced much better and done on a better engine.

Halo 2 in the halo 4 engine feels very nice though, especially with the weapons they have in the sandbox.

Halo 3 because I like the infection

I play MCC more now but Halo 5 has a really fun multiplayer

Halo 3 is the one I have spent most of my years playing, but my favourite has to be Halo: Combat Evolved. Especially since 343i managed to add it to the SWAT gametype.

Halo 2 for me, 2 and 3 are incredibly close but the perfect control in Halo 2 gives it a slight edge for me; everything feels so tight and I find it fun for both casual and competitive players (which granted, could be said for most of the games), also I find most of the maps in Halo 2 are better than 3. Like I said, it only beats Halo 3 by a slight margin, the only real problem I have with it are the button combos; I can do lots of them because I’ve played tons of Halo 2 (campaign and multiplayer) but I know that it’s an issue for many casual players so I try not to use them

halo 3 casual because its not entirely full of sweaty try hards

I think Halo 4’s multiplayer was most fun both casually and competitively.

Halo 5’s multiplayer has its fair share of issues, but I love it anyway. Halo 3 is a very close second.

For me, either 3 or Reach.

Halo 2 and 3, I always go back to them. I love that you can play as an Elite. Makes MM a lot more fun when you might have a different player model around the corner and not just different armor.

I go back and forth between H2A and H5.

2 and 3, with the edge to 2.

I believe for me it was the start of the Multiplayer custom / forge movement that REALLY made it stick.

Forge was mind blowing at the time and the amount of maps / game modes meant you could sit there and just piss about online or with friends for hours.
