When I was 4 years old I used to go to my Grandmother’s house because the one thing I loved was that my Cousin Ricky always left his Original Xbox at the house. This was also the year Halo 2 came out, but the only game he had was Halo Combat Evolved. Every time I would play Halo CE the only mission I would play at that time was Pillar of Autumn, Halo, The Truth and Reconciliation, The Silent Cartographer, and Assault on the Control room. The reason being was that 343 Guilty Spark would always scare the crap outta me when I was little. But the most fondest memories was when my Cousin Ricky came in to play with me (Which was easy because the Original Xbox came with 2 controllers) and 2 memories always stuck with my throughout all these years. The first was when you got onto the Halo mission and you first get the warthog. When you get inside you get a pop-up on your screen which I believe told you how to ride it. But being really young, I didn’t care what it said at the time because I wanted to kill some aliens! I asked my cousin Ricky what it said one time, and he responded, “It’s because you don’t know how to drive” And I thought, Oh! That makes a lot of sense. Cause I kept running into trees.
The second was when we had a party, and all of my family was there including my sister Shawnee, Ricky, and me. We started playing and we got to the walk up tower on the snow mission Assault on the Control Room, and Ricky looked down at the dead jackal on the floor and said, “Hey Shawnee, that looks like you.” Lmao.
I died.
