Having not considered the Halo 2 soundtrack in great detail, my knowledge in this regard may be somewhat lacking. Nonetheless, I have found “Earth City” to be a captivating and wholly unique piece.
Meaning the music as heard in the game, or the music as heard in the soundtracks?
The soundtracks are badly disorganized, missing a bunch of material, and filled with irrelevant garbage that wasn’t even in the game.
I’d say my favorite piece is Heavy Price Paid.
Sacred Icon Suite. Specifically the Cortege part.

Halo 2 has to be my favourite gaming OST ever. I love so many tracks from that game. But if pressed and I mean pressed… I’d have to choose this. Shivers every time.
