Seeing as how there isn’t much campaign threads going around, I figured I’d ask everyone their favorite moment.
Mine is just right after Floodgate where everyone is crowded around the Shadow of Intent’s bridge listening to Cortana’s message. Just such an intense moment in the story.

Probably the opening cutscene.
When you say cinematic moment, I know you mean cutscenes, the Chief making the jump to the Forward Unto Dawn at the end was great.
But as far as an in-game cinematic moment, I loved the thrill of driving a land vehicle onto a Scarab, hopping out and killing the enemies on board, destroying the Scarab core and then legging it out of there to watch an amazing explosion.
That’s my favourite.
The part after The Arbiter kills Truth and the flood’s tentacles rise up around them as they hang onto the pelican. I expected either Chief or the Arbiter to die, since it was my first time playing Halo 3. Glad they both made it though. Can’t wait to see them rain carnage down together in the future.

The reunion with the Chief and Cortana. “When I make a promise…” “You… keep it.”
The moment where The Flood gang up with Chief and Arbiter.
“Only you may halt, what he has set into action…”
In Cortana when the Chief finds her…good stuff.
End of Floodgate.
End of Halo before credits and finding Cortana are up there too.
