What's your concerns after the latest trailer?

Personally, I’m curious, but hesitant, it’s a very radical step, I’m just hoping I’m wrong, and that it’ll be an amazing experience.

Health bars need to be more unique. They are uninspiring. Practically everything else shows a really strong foundation.

My free time is limited haha

Just don’t want most the areas to look the same. Give me some strong liner missions some open sections, and some snow. I’ll be a happy spartan.

Not 100% a fan of a brand new enemy faction when the others like the Prometheans and Created either have no resolution in the plot or we’re just abandoned despite being a galaxy-shattering status quo change. I’m sure they’ll have interesting lore, but I’m also weary that Zeta’s already rich history with ancient humans is being pasted over by an all new hitherto unknown secret history.

No concern here, I can not wait for it to.come out.:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

None whatsoever. LZ is hot; let’s drop!

Can’t say I was wowed by the campaign. Looks kinda boring? Sorry

Halo 5 story was such hot garbage that it will be difficult for Infinite to dig halo back out with an entertaining and compelling narrative that continues the story, not ignoring it. However, this is not a new concern arisen by the info dropped today.

Seems like you have Thrusters and/or Grapple in unlimited uses. Which was one of the main reasons I didn’t enjoy Halo 5’s gameplay. The electric grapple also looked like a powerweapon with unlimited ammo. And then the camo-thrust has a bit of the same issue to me. It’s just too much.

I would prefer if you had limited uses on both grapple and thruster, but you could re-fill it in the bases, and also find it in the world maybe.

Story-concern. Why is “The Weapon” so dumb? It kinda annoys me. I know she’s kinda like an AI child, but she would have knowledge enough to understand that a Brute in Banished armour is not “a friend”. I miss Cortana… no you’re crying.

My one and only concern would be the open world aspect. I hope it’s much like Metro where its ‘open world’ but it’s done in zones so it’s not a true open world like say the Witcher but instead each traditional level will have a very large open area that you can engage how you see fit.

I don’t really want to grind side quests

Really not much at all. The graphical glitches (lighting, textures, and pop in) seem to have been fixed. Story looks to be interesting - and they haven’t oversold it like Halo 5. The trailer was pretty equipment heavy (showing it off) and I imagine it won’t be as plentiful come game time (especially Heroic / Legendary).

Love the Weapon. Between the Pilot’s nervousness and her naivety… they will be able to ask the questions that help set up the narrative / Halo lore for all the new (and previously lost) fans.

Great stepping off point for what I hope is a decade plus of more Halo.

Oh yeah. Metro style would be great.

i’m totally afraid of the Ubisoft style campain

Far too child-friendly/Mobile game-like. Down to the voice acting, models like the Infantry, shielding and Phantoms, and blood/violence tone.

At least allow an option for an overhaul for all these qualities, if negotiating the age demographic is impossible to sway.

Halo: Combat Evolved / The Fall of Reach got me hooked with the hard sci-fi angle. With Infinite I still don’t really know what I’m getting into (granted, that was the same back in 2001 - but now the cool sci-fi angle is kinda missing).

They should have just made the game about Jega Rdomnai

Worried about the story itself being too busy - at the moment it looks like there’s a lot to cover between the Created, Banished, UNSC, Blue Team, Osiris, and by the looks of it, a potential new race.

I know they plan on supporting Infinite for years, but I just hope the story doesn’t end up too messy.

Also hope that their are some more focused linear-based missions or levels rather than all of them just taking place in the main sandbox.

I’m at peace with the campaign, I think it’ll be an interesting new experience for Halo fans, my concerns exist with the multiplayer.

  • I am skeptical about the RPG elements.
  • I don’t think it’s a visual highlight. Anyone can think about it as they like, but I still saw clear weaknesses.
  • I am skeptical about the variety of biomes
  • I miss the “dark moments” (moments with Floods or Prometheans … It all seems very static)

Maybe I’m overreacting because we only saw parts of the first area (we did, right?) But I was really not impressed … as much as I’m looking forward to it. But gameplay looks good like the multiplayer
