I was jumping down to assassinate someone when my teammate threw a plasma grenade at the enemy that I was going to assassinate but ended up getting killed by the grenade. FML

I think I was trying to get down to (old) OS quickly, but buddy Taste ran under me. 
Laughter and confusion ensued.
When I realize I haven’t played this game since September lol
I had rockets once and I was doing my best to stay alive, I got nervous when a teammate threw a nade at me…I fired a rocket across the map in frustration and from being nervous…I killed 3 teammates who climbed into a warthog on BTB…whoops
One I can think of is the classic snipeltreyal like the one you got. I had just recently gotten a kill already so Buck went “That’s a double!”
“Uhh, I guess you’re not wrong, buck…”
i have two when i was in a forge game and i got a rocket turret and someone was right next to me and i killed them. and also when i got to level 50
killing a two guys in their base on Warzone then five other guys spawned in and I died sadly. lol
I still feel horrible about this but, I had a rocket launcher in Warzone and was on blue team. A fellow teammate spawned in a Nornfang giving him an unfortunate reddish tint. I see him out of the corner of my eye, so think it was an enemy sneaking up on me so I turned and blew the poor fellow up with my rockets… Worst teammate ever I am.
Just recorded this gem last night.
I was like “Oooh! There’s a Wraith! I’ll take that!” and didn’t stop to think that getting out of my flying Ghost and thrusting back into it would splatter me XD
It was BTB Capture the flag i was on the red team our team was losing 1-2 and there was like 20 seconds left. i had the incineration cannon and went to shoot the enemy that was running behind me. since the incineration cannon projectiles move like a wave when i shot at my opponent the projectiles curved around him and hit the warthog driving towards our base. 3 of my teammates died in that explosion one of which was our flag carrier. I died almost right after and my body received a -Yoink!- by my opponent. by the time i respawned there wasn’t even 10 seconds left and we lost 1-2. if it wasn’t for that incineration cannon our team could have tied and gone into over time or finish with a tie
I was driving around in a sword ghost during Warzone, and 2 of my teammates walk right in front of me. At that point, I knew there was nothing I could do. I splattered both of them…whoops
Whoop moments for me consist of having my controller die while driving a warthog in Warzone FF and then getting blown to bits by Temple Banshee bosses.
Taking out a banshee with the Hydra, feeling epic, only to have the husk of it fall on top of a team mate, getting a betrayal. I’ve done that far too many times.
I was driving a warthog with 2 of my teammates and I drove right into a scorpion.

My friend and I were playing big team battle on Valhala back in halo 3, right from the start i went for the sniper, I stayed at the base to get a good shot at the hill in the middle, waiting for enemies to come in range. When i saw the first enemy pass over the hill I aimed for his head but my friend just so happened to walk in front of me as I pulled the trigger. Before I knew it “BAM!” betrayal! I mourned him for five whole seconds, until he respawned. and that was only one of many Whoopsies that I was the cause of.
I was in an Ultra Banshee chasing an enemy banshee almost dead, until two of my teammates used a gravity lift, they were in mid-air and I splattered them both. In reaction I giggled and said “oops”.
this seems to happen way too much to me but when I cross map nade/stick a teammate. Quite a few months ago I betray one teammate over 10 times in 10 matches. They were all genuinely accidents and were really unfortunate /unlucky but he started to be pretty convinced I was doing it on purpose. Good times.
