What's your best experience on Halo?

It could be from the game play to the people you’ve met through online battle! Let’s hear your Halo stories peeps!

I once went 66-0 playing Invasion Slayer on Hemorrhage. I got an Unfirgginbelievable and an Extermination in the same game.

That was like 9 years ago and I’m still proud of it

Good times Hamel, good times. I’m glad someone can get that in Slayer because I sure can’t! lol

Me and a friend of mine have just gotten into the Master Chief Collection and beat Halo Reach on Legendary! We plan on playing though them all so wish us luck. It’s something we’ve been wanting to do for awhile now. Brings back old memories.

In college playing Halo: Reach on release with my brother when we discovered the “challenges” section. They were easy until the LASO challenge came up. Over the course of our career, we did the entire campaign with LASO on. The most brutal and frustrating experience of my life but def. the most fun. Elites with extra armor forced us to become ninjas as the only way to kill them was with an assassination. No hud or reticle forced us to become A+ snipers after having to headshot grunts in one go. Watching the -Yoink- AI flail about as Master Elites rampaged and stuck grenades with perfect accuracy lol -Yoink- was fun and def. an unforgettable experience. THIS IS WHY SPLIT-SCREEN SHOULD BE MANDATORY IN ALL RELEASES.

You’ll be one of the few who earned the helioskrill armor set. I plan on doing it soon.

Great job.

"I commend you!" My brother growing up never had the patience to attempt such a thing. I’m glad you had so much fun playing through the hardships of LASO!

Any time I can get someone on the other team in my vehicle I am one happy Spartan. I usually wake up my family laughing.

Always a good laugh when you and your enemy can take a minute to appreciate a nice car ride together!

We are the same age, which comes with it’s own frustrations, but damn right was LASO ever worth it! I’m hoping Halo: Infinite has cross play so I can play with him again. (Me: PC - Him: Xbox - Both: live in different states)

I gotta say my best experience on Halo was meeting my friends “Corny right?” Seriously tho, I met two people online years ago and I’ve been friends with them ever since. Also, upon meeting them I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet several other skilled players. We’ve been slaying people on Halo and other games ever since.

I hope you guys get to play again soon! My brother joined the military several years ago so we defiantly don’t play as much as we use to.

Playing with family and friends both irl and online. I have the most fun playing with them

Well, good for him! Did he go active? I was in the military for 8 years myself. Was an iffy experience but the first 3 years was def. worth it. The last 5…ehhh. Depending on whether or not split-screen get’s added, I may buy MCC for PC. I hope it does though, my wife is ready to murder some Covenant!

Update: I’m halfway through Combat Evolved on Legendary!

Beating halo ce and getting to see probably the best halo ending in the whole series.

I didn’t know it at the time, but young me and my friends playing CE lan, staying up all night eating snacks and drinking sugary pop

For me, it would be the whole Halo 2 era. Going from split screen, or LAN multiplayer, to when 2 dropped, Online Multiplayer, was just amazing. If you didn’t bridge host, then you’d be stand-by’d, or modded, like every 3rd game  (in the higher level ranked playlists anyway). Even with that happening, it was still the greatest to play, and have unforgettable experiences on!

When I get an enemy spartan in the same vehicle
