Alright, everyone, I need your help. I’m getting back into forge, but I don’t know where to start.
So I’d like to know, what is you favorite Halo map? This can be from any Halo game (except Halo Wars, of course). I would prefer these be 4v4 maps, but anything goes.
I’d also like to know why you liked this map. Did you like the jumps on the map, the initial fight for power weapons, the hazards on the map, things like that.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I like variety, especially with infantry and vehicular variety. If that wasn’t what you were going for at all, please disregard this message entirely.
> Probably Sandtrap.

Not quite the maps I was hoping to hear, but they do give me some ideas…

I liked Zanzibar, Headlong,Narrows, Valhalla, Highlands. and the Pit.

> This. Guardian was one of the best to play in H3, almost like Valhalla. Please make it, and you will make happy many of us
I never really liked guardian myself. Also, I don’t plan on remaking maps- more like remodeling or introducing vital map parts into new maps. Guardian does give me some ideas though.
Damnation is my favorite ever. It was asymmetrical yet balanced, and it had a very cool, convenient layout that made it very easy to get to where you need to be. It allowed plenty of freedom to change strategies on the fly and the options were seemingly limitless. Like much of CE, the sole limiting factor was the player. Other favorites of mine are Prisoner, Chill Out, and Lockout for many of the same reasons, and Midship, which is the best symmetrical map in Halo thus far.
I keep saying, all the Halo 3 kids that jumped on in Guardian and Pit will forget all about those maps once they get a taste of Dammy and Prisoner (and Chill Out, should a forged version of that make it to the anniversary playlist). Assuming they play them on classic settings of course, jetpack will break Dammy and Prisoner and sprint wrecks Chill Out.
What about this old sketch? I wanted to make an infection map on three floors, near the water. Probably you can’t understand the sketch, but could be a base for your ideas :3 Sketch Project

A bit of a rough sketch, but some cool ideas. Thanks for the help.

Well, I enjoyed sketching maps, even if mostly I don’t have enough time to build them^^" Anyway I wish post another sketch that is about a nice map if someone would make it. Again it isn’t easy to understand whole, but is just a base to work on :3Sketch 2
