I’ve had a few people saying that the Centurion armor wasn’t so great. What’s wrong with it!? I like the armor because it has the second closest resemblance to Chief’s armor in the campaign. But aparantly, it’s not one of the most popular armor in the the game. Again, what’s so damn wrong with it!? Now because of some fashion police on these forums, I can’t even decide what combo to go for anymore that’s good for my style that may also look cool to others. Thanks alot, for ruining things for me!

there is nothing wrong with Centurion, use whatever armor combo you want and don’t worry about what other people think. At the end of the day the armor will be on your spartan not their’s.

Tell that to the people on the thread ‘Rate the Armor of the poster above you’. Seriously, it’s like these people think I have poor taste in armor style, probably because mine isn’t as fruity and colorful as thiers, not to mentioned impratical in appearance.
The only thing wrong with the Centurion is that it isn’t the Mark V Alpha. Other than that it’s a great armor. One of the better ones IMO.

I think as far as 343’s limited customization, mismatched secondary colors, and weird armor design go, Centurion is one of the few gorgeous original designs they’ve actually created. Its also arguably the closest thing to Chief’s armor we have available.
That being said, there’s little reason to care about what others think of your armor. Just pick what works for you. I’ll probably rock Centurion myself once I unlock it.
EDIT: Oh, and I looked at the thread I think you were looking at. I don’t understand how people would rate someone else’s armor choices to begin with. It’s all a highly subjective subject anyway. There’s no such thing as ‘too plain’. If there was then I’m probably the lamest Spartan in the world for wearing Solid Black armor just to get something resembling a Black Undersuit.
i like it, however the customization in colors could be better, use whetever you like and suits with your style.

You shouldn’t care about opinions…
If you like it it’s fine.
You may always ask, it’s a good thing, but in the end it’s you who decides.
For the record, I think the Centurion is a fine looking armor.
Who cares what others think about the armour? If you like it, then wear it. If you don’t? Then don’t. There’s no point in basing what you do/wear on what other people think. It’s YOUR Spartan, not theirs. If they don’t like it, then that’s really their problem.
I like Centurion, and I wore it for a while. I bet that other people saw my Spartan and would think “eww, that looks gross”. But why would that affect me at all?

But I thought that people hated the Mark V Alpha for not being the accurate Mark V.
The only problem I have with Centurion armor is that it has white on it, making me unable to make something similar to John.

I just hate it because it looks like it has big eyebrows, and the mouth sticks out a little too far

Yeah, if only we don’t have those white stripes on the armor. That would ruin the camoflage. And the more solid color of our choosing.

Yeah, I and others hate the armour because it’s not accurate to the Mark V armour. And you know what? Some people love the Mark V. Others think it’ ok. There are also those who are completely neutral towards it. There are a myriad of opinions toward it, none being any better or worse than others. But if you like it, then I encourage you to wear it!
I feel like I’m missing something though. Why do you feel it important that others like or approve of your armour?

I used to hate it. It’s actually kind of grown on me though.
I’m not a big fan of it, but I don’t hate it. When you compare it to something like the Seeker helmet, it’s not that bad.

In real life, I always wear a fedora with three turkey feathers jammed into it, and most people (strangers included) were stunned. Some say that I look ridiculous. Some say that I look like Peter Pan. Others say that I look like Robin Hood. In the end, everyone loved my feathered fedora. At least I’m easier to find in a crowd, eh?
