What's wrong with the bag??

I think the bag is something that makes halo halo, it was made popular and a worldwide gaming trend in halo! I think it’s hilarious even when it happens to me, of course I’ll be a little salty but I’ll just do it back!:joy: I love it and halo should be like that!
the bag is an iconic halo trend! And one thing halo has always been known for was that it has more teabags than a Lipton convention

It’s just silly. Been playing Halo since Halo CE on the original Xbox. Don’t think I ever saw it until Halo 2 and Xbox Live, though. First time I saw it I thought, “Wow, that’s just stupid.”
Now, I’m not really offended by it myself, but my 9 y/o daughter plays Halo 5, and it’s a little annoying when it’s in a game she’s in. Luckily, she just thinks people are sitting on people, because at 9 butts are funny.
So, do it if you want, but as far as some kind of “time honored Halo tradition”…it’s still just silly. Whatever.

I usually -Yoink!- any and all, but most often I -Yoink!- those that crouch strafe lol I kill them everytime they try that stupid stuff so yea get the bag to the face!!!

> > > > >
> > > > >

> > > >
> > > >
> > > > So…because you can’t pull it off without throwing your own shots off, you believe it’s ineffective for everyone? Seems legit. Works for me, you just need to know how to use it as well as when and where. Even the pros talk about how big crouch strafing is in this game.
> > > >
> > > > I’m not trying to stat flame, but your highest rank is a plat 6 while I’m at onyx/champ. Maybe, there’s something to this crouch strafing after all, hmmmmmmmm?
> > >
> > >
> > > Nope not at all, I’ve seen onyx players in breakout attempt it with a pistol or battle rifle, while they focus more on crouching they focus less on the head while my main focus is the head and they tend to fail unless they actually got first shot on me and then started the crouch, it used to happen alot on in warzone as well needless to say tho, 9/10 times id win because their aim was thrown off, and you know CSR doesn’t mean that much since its based on wins anyways, not really skill, unless it’s ffa which that shows how good someone is but I don’t wanna bother going through people’s stats either besides the only playlist I have bothered to rank in is breakout, the others I happen to have ranked in was for commendations and it’s died down as well as far as I’m seeing I haven’t dealt with one for the last few days, so either way it didn’t matter to me Wether they did it or not but people will play how they play so it’s whatever they enjoy it so I’ll enjoy it my way too and if you happen to be at onyx or champ, congrats for you, I don’t spend too much time in arena so I don’t go up csr much, but also what you told me about the strafing contradicts yourself too, if it works for you it won’t be effective for every other player like you if you use it
> >
> >
> > Skill doesn’t matter? So, how do you win then? You guys play rock, paper, scissors to see who’ll get the W? Like I said, if it throws off your aim and you choke shots it’s because you’re not “good enough” at aiming. Also, Breakout’s a bad example for determining it’s effectiveness. The kill times so quick that you can’t really crouch. And even then, peoples shots being off is probably because they have nerves from the competitiveness. Not to mention, barely having enough time to react to the shooter. Also, FFA is probably the easiest playlist to get champ in. A Champ in TA or TS would destroy a champ in FFA.

> I said skill for the ranks in arena, those matter on wins once you get put in a rank, the first rank we get every season is most likely the most accurate one due to it using the score we got in the 10 matches to get placed, but after that it’s just wins, a bronze player could end out in diamond if they started in bronze but that doesn’t mean they can have the reactions and skill of a diamond starter at the start of a season but they got there because of wins, the breakout times aren’t as fast when people are using precision weapons up close tho so even tho it’s not on par with a full shielded Spartan the added health usually takes of at least one or two shots, also I never said I hesitate while doing it so that’s not really viable, in fact I do notice that with the crouch although the crosshair doesn’t move far from the head there’s still the focus on moving and attempting to do both sometimes can possibly hinder a player, you seem to defend this too much I’m by no means trying to change your opinion but others have opinions as well and mine is that it isn’t effective yours is the opposite just learn to accept it

It’s not a matter of hesitation, it’s literally impossible to turn towards someone and get shots on someone behind you in breakout before you die. Unless they start choking and miss the shots. I’m not really defending my point because I’m so offended. I just like to argue, presenting counter-arguments and what not  I don’t have any ill will or anything.

P.S Use periods to end your sentences, it’s one huge sentence and makes it unbearable to read and comprehend it. It helps your argument seem more structured.

There was a big, serious waypoint thread a couple of months ago about people pretty much living on a salt river talking about how tea-bagging can be reported under “bad sportsmanship”. It was a big thread, with more then 10 pages, and had many people supporting the OP’s point of view.

It was the biggest facepalm thread I’ve ever seen in my life. Because of that thread I now -Yoink!- EVERYONE that dies in front of me regardless if I killed them or not, just to get under those so so sensitive peoples skin, whereas I used to only do it to people that had the upper hand whom I defeated 1v1.

Welcome to halo, and until they disable CROUCHING, we will continue to -Yoink!-.

This is normal, you should not pay attention to that.

I guess if virtually running your junk across another man’s face that has recently died is what brings you pleasure, then go for it.

Feel free to join my spartan company “A Gentle Bagging” where our citizens are not just allowed to freely bag, but rally around a fallen brother who has been bagged for a good ol’ fashioned end of round victory bagging!
Edit - All in good fun, by no means is our goal to only irritate people

In many ways I don’t have a problem with the whole bagging thing. But here are a few things to consider: 1) My 12 year old daughter has started to enjoy playing the game and to be honest is not very good at it. It is a bit offensive when people want to do this to a player who is obviously not very good at the game; not to mention the fact that I’d really not like to have to explain to her the meaning behind the move. 2) To continue my 1st point, bagging a bad player is just sad. I rarely ever bag, but in the very few times I’ve done it, it has always been to a player who is at least equal in talent or better at playing Halo than I am. 3) 343 is a U.S. based company. How long before a disgruntled player reports the activity as a form of virtual sexual harassment (if you think that would be a dumb legal case, believe me there have been cases won which were for far stupider reasons than this) and 343 ends up paying out tons of money to ‘victims’ and the game we all love suffers reprocussions because of it? My advice would be to only bag the people you know; or if you do bag some random player and they send you a hate message then be the bigger person and send them an apology.

Speak for yourself  I love getting the bag, makes the game I’m in much more interesting and fun because after someone bags me, it’s WAR!

I think it’s hilarious I laugh every time I dish it out and laugh every time I get it. Are people really that butt hurt about a persons animated character squatting on their animated character? The way I see it… I pretend all the Spartans are females and that I am getting a good helping of UNSC vajay.

Personally I do it if I had no business beating the guy or if I just find what he does scummy. I always -Yoink!- gandhi-hoppers in nonranked matches though. Like dude, just play the game and enjoy it. Don’t pull out the stops. Just go play ranked if that’s what you’re gonna do.

Nothing wrong with Gandi-hoping bro, its a part of the competitive nature of Halo and has been used for years lol (it works)

Never said it was. Just my two cents here.

Happened to me b4

A game without T-Bagging is a game I want no part of.

Besides, kids these days have a pretty good grasp of dirty vocabulary, tbag or not.

I see nothing wrong with tea-bagging (I also have it as my emblem) In fact I do it whenever I can, but I’ve never been reported for it. Sometimes I’m even insulted when a player I killed and tea-bagged on killed me and didn’t bag me back. I would just ignore those who report and block you, because really, the bag has been around since CE, so I don’t think it’s going anywhere.

Yea my issue is when people use it in unranked modes and I still stomp on them, especially because I haven’t been a Halo regular in a while.

I feel like most people are getting butt hurt these days so that’s probably why

yes it seems a lot of people get their feelings hurt at the smallest thing…its irritating but haha wonder where that mentality came from???

I don’t care if people -Yoink!- me, it’s part of the game. I don’t notice it half the time because I instinctively pull up the scoreboard right after I die anyway and it blocks the view. I’ll -Yoink!- if I have the time and no enemies are nearby cause who cares. Hell, I -Yoink!- my teammates alot too just cause I can.

The only thing that really irks me is when someone bagging (teammate or enemy) does a “machine gun -Yoink!-”, where they mash the crouch button as fast as they can and their Spartan just vibrates and has basically no vertical change. The point of a -Yoink!- is to put your balls on their face, so make sure your balls get there, you know? You can still do it fast, just make sure your crouch gets all the way there before pulling up so it looks nice.
