What's wrong with Forge?

Hey 343i community,

So I haven’t been much of a Halo fan after the death of Halo 3… I decided to purchase Halo 5 which in my opinion isn’t that bad but still isn’t the same. Anyways, I wanted to try the new forge on this game and it’s great and all, but I have huge problems when loading them into custom games. For exemple I used the shield doors on neutral as a floor, they are all connected together and beautiful in forge mode, I save it and load it in custom games to test is out and there’s gaps everywhere and some and in an angle and all that stuff… Why is this? When I load it in forge mode it’s perfectly normal just not in the custom game… It’s getting rather annoying as I’m trying to remake Halo 3 classic private games now that infection is back but if this keeps happening, then that takes away numerous maps to remake. I hope someone can help me out here.

do you do generate lighting? im not the best at forge so im not too good with this stuff, also the shield door may have holes or angles in it that are not clearly visible in forge

Generate lighting? Sorry, I myself don’t know much of all these new things added into forge. And the walls don’t have any bends or curves of any sorts, on custom games they are simply misplaced and all in different positions. They start off all together but apparently in customs games they just don’t stick together and end up going everywhere aha. Is it possible to post pictures on this forum?

You can link us to your xbox dvr! Make a screenshot of it and then save it from your xbox and then go to xbox clips and find the screen shot then post us a link of it

I’ve noticed this problem here and there myself. The only encouragement I can offer is to say that they’ve patched every other problem I’ve seen up to now so it stands to reason that this will be addressed at some point.
