I have to say seems the update warzone seems more difficult. I been playing warzone for a long time I think the new update change warzone to were it is a lot more dependent on reqs. I’m I the only one how thinks this?
If youre talking about Warzone Firefight then yes, there is no possible way for a team to BR its way to victory. You need to communicate and get reqs best suited for each round. Its tough playing with randoms that sometimes dont spawn anything for the entire game.
Warzone is built on reqs, the bosses, the loadouts, the power weapons, the armor mods, the vehicles, and the power ups. So it makes sense to me.

If you are talking about firefight then what this guy said is true. If you are talking about regular warzone, then it is completely possible (but not ideal) to win a round using only pistols if you wanted to. I personally just run around with my hybrid br and my pistol (I really just use my pistol because I am more confident with it and it is fun to use because it is more challenging) but let me give you a scenario. Let’s say 2 full teams with mics go up against each other, one team is all champion players and the other is all platinum players. The team of champs is limited to only loadout weapons while the other team can use their full req collection. The team of champs will most likely win because they are all more skilled. But let’s say the non champ team is all onyx players and they have req access, they will most likely win because the skill gap is much closer.
Halo is more skill based then any other game. Most gunfights will come down to who has the better shot. A champ with a great shot and strafe with a pistol will beat a platinum with a decent shot and decent strafe with a br 9/10 times. I hate to say this but the only real way to beat players who use reqs is to either improve your shot or just outreq them.
WZFF is heavily dependent on REQs, especially vehicles, to win. No REQs = No chance.
