Note: While I understand that this topic does not relate to Halo 5: Guardians, it is asking a question targeted towards a specific group only found on Halo 5: Guardians. Thank you for your understanding.
So I asked a question on a nameless social media group recently along the lines of “Where my Halo 2 players at?” All of the responses I got were things like “On the original Xbox, where they belong”, “Adapt or get left behind”, “Uh, Halo 5. Where are you?”, etc… So let me ask you, Halo 5: Guardians players: What is it about old games that you detest so much? Why is it frowned upon to like older games? Is Halo 2’s quality really diminished because it doesn’t have sprint, ADS, and Spartan Abilities? Serious responses only.
Since when did people hate on older halos? All I see on these forums are people wanting re-releases of Halo 2 and 3 pretty much instead of anything new!

Actually, more people here are apparently in love with the old games. Every other forum post is about how good past halo’s were. I like both but you were posting on a different site so that’s why

Exactly, everyone always bashes the newest Halo games and praises the older ones. Not sure what the OP is even talking about. Sure there might be a select few who feel that way but the majority? No way.

How do you get the conclusion that the older Halo games are frowned upon? Just by a handful of people when at least half of the people on here want a rerelease of Halo 2.
Yeah IDK, the halo community hates change and would love to have H2 or H3 re-released every 3 years lol…IDK who you’re friends with but it sounds like they are part of a younger generation?

“on a nameless social media group” not “on Halo Waypoint”

You want proof? I’ll give you a hint as to where to find my examples: The groups’ name is related to keeping Halo alive.

No its not. Thats why people hate on older halo games. They can’t fathom playing an fps without sprint, ads, etc.

That doesnt mean anything. I know several people who think halo 4 is the best halo ever. Same with mass effect 3 and gears of war judgement. That doesnt make it a majority just because a handful of people said it.
It seems you are not understanding what majority and minority mean or you are choosing not to listen. Im not gonna feed this anymore. Have yourself a good day.
