Right, now im not slating all the specs, as i havent tried them yet, but I dont understand why Me spending ages levelling up to finally use Stalker, was actually a complete waste of time, let me explain…as noted in Halo wiki…
Stalker
The Stalker packs the Nemesis armor mod, a passive skill that causes an icon of the last person that killed you to appear on the HUD. It also tracks enemies who’ve attacked but not killed you as well, making it useful for both retaliation and revenge.
Now upon using the stalker perk for the first time, it DOES NOT TRACK ENEMIES WHO HAVE SHOT AT YOU. it merely places a small red “X” above an enemy for a feeble 3 SECONDS, upon respawn. now that is pretty -Yoink- in my opinion, its next to if not, useless. I sincerely hope the other armour specs are no where near as attrocious as this one, does anyone have any idea why halo wiki is wrong, and why the perk is useless?

First of all you got facts off of wiki.
Those 3 seconds of knowing where the enemy is can be relayed to your team if you use a mic.
Can also let you know from where do you know where they are killing you from.
This community asked for the perk to be nerfed before the game was out. They got their wish. Blame the community, not 343i.
Wow that sucks then, but I can say that the rest of the specializations suck hard as well, better keep using Dexterity or ammo and AA efficiency the whole time cause the ones from specs are a waste, at least you get more visors for learning them
well thing is, you kinda already know where you end up being killed from with the killcam? O.o, not to mention bullettrails and the occasional classic halo camera pointing. so your point is invalid im afraid, and what did you say bout halo wiki? it didnt make any sense lol

thanks for that spunky…
crying -Yoink- halo fanboys -.-
Many of them look pretty good. Rogue will give you a slight advantage in most long distance combat scenarios. Pathfinder and Operator when combined supposedly create some kind of unholy super Mantis. Tracker means you can swap out those damn needlers in ordnance drops. Engineer makes you the master of power weapons. Wetwork helps for those who use stealth. Pioneer and Stalker serve no purpose to me but I do like the extra customisation options.
Also, yes. I am a “fanboy”. But the fact that you’re signed up to the Halo forums hints to me that so are you. I have as many complaints as the next person, but I release that I nor you are a game developer, 343i are professionals, they know what they are doing, who are you to question their actions?

Pioneer is great for spartan ops, the extra 1.1k xp at the end of the match is a nice little boost for grinding. You could earn 7k per spartan ops match w/o dbl xp is yummy! and 13k with dbl xp !! I don’t see a purpose for it in MP.
Operator = awesomeness from EMPs!!! Love it, you’ll never be stunned from the sky or your mantis locking up!
Stealth = Haven’t noticed it to really help out honestly, so can’t really say it’s a good thing.
Working on scout spec now to see how the weapon stabilization works out in game.

Just because its on the Internet does not make it factual.
You don’t get bullet trails all the time and this makes it more visible. The kill am is not in every game mode and its still broken.

Yup here is your answer.
Indeed, gotta admit pioneer is very good for spartan ops

Ah, I never anticipated that idea for use in Spartan Ops. I may use it at some point. Although I am more interested in things to aid me in combat rather than levelling up.
Dafaq is yoink? Homer Simpson??

Im signed up cos I like to see what everyone else has to say about the game, including the developers, and obviously like everyone else post my opinion, I mean im not a hardcore sweaty nerd who plays halo day in and day out but yeah I love halo its a good game, just didnt get why the stalker perk was a waste of time lol. cos now i have to wait ages for another perk i can actually use. Stalker isnt that good, Apart from maybe in swat or summat. and im not questioning their actions bro, and I understand they are proffessional developers, but why make something unique then nerf it to the point of uselessness lol.
