Anyone that has seen the recent screen shots of the new helmets, what’s your opinion? I don’t even think they look like helmets. I’m all for odd and new looking equipment, but these look so odd. Not necessarily bad, just odd. Any thoughts?
How RECENT are we talking about? We’ve already seen the Venator, Locus, Gungnir, Orbital, Scout, Recon, Hazop, CIO, and Deep Sea Diver helemts…
If you’re referring to the new default helmets, I love them. I think they look awesome and are a huge step up from the default Reach helmet; i.e. one of the ugliest helmets to ‘grace’ the game.
They do look a bit strange. I thought they would have stayed the same with a couple of updates like in the past Halo games. Chief’s helmet actually still looks like the type of helmets we are used to. Some of the helmets look like they could be from another game franchise. They are still fine. Will take time to get used to them. I will pretty much be wearing Chief’s helmet if his is wearable since they might not bring my beloved ODST helmet…

I agree, the Venator is awfully close to Issac Clarks helmet from Deadspace.
And, don’t you worry. LOTS of people liked the ODST helmet, so you can bet some serious cash that it will return, maybe better than ever!
the ODST helmet is a favorite of alot of people, it would be a mistake to not have it in halo 4. me, i like how all the helmets are looking i for one want the locust helmet BAD!

If the ODST helmet does return, I want it to have just a couple updates(That also goes for the ODST armor). Maybe like how Chief’s is now(Again. This goes for the ODST armor). I don’t want it redone. I also don’t want it to come out in a DLC. That would make me sad. I don’t want to have to by a DLC to get that. Please do this 343i.

I still don’t see why they can’t add all the helmets from Halo Reach into the multiplayer. 
I like most of them but some are just really odd. Odd in a good way though.
Regarding the venator helmet, I don’t see a problem with looking like Isaac. His helmet looks BA and Dead Space was an awesome game.

Agreed. I’m pre-ordering from Best Buy just so I can get that awesome Raptor skin for the Venator armor set. 
I think they’re ugly. All of them look not only horrible but absolutely impractical for helmets. It was like the designer was trying to make something even more ridiculous looking than the Hayabusa and forgotten that they’re just helmets, supposed to give the user a good visibility while housing their head. If the designer of those helmets was designing them for a secret military project, they would most likely get fired.

And you have a lot of experience with futuristic, super-soldier, secret-ops?
A lot of them seem too bulky and over-designed. Even my beloved Scout helmet was made bulkier and I don’t really like that.
I love the default (Warrior) helmet. I just love it. IDK why. The other helmets…idk…

Wait… what? You honestly think Mk V** looks bad??! Personally I think its one of the best looking helmets that Bungie ever designed, and its just a lovely piece of artwork.**
