i haven’t played in about 2 weeks. The LAG and the dancing screen started then. Now I started playing again and it happened a few times. Are the Halo 5 servers starting to go to crap like they did in Halo 4? Not my internet already checked that.
You gotta love the stupid antics of “Mr. Lag”. He’s always making our lives a little more hellish when we least expect it.
It might be the people that you connect with in game.
The probable theory is dwindling population… rather than getting matched with tons of people within your region, you’re connecting with people that are widespread and it makes it difficult for the servers to support and provide a crisp game/connection.
The servers were great around launch… when the game was new and had a large influx of players.

I think you’re right. I’ve started experiencing the lag more and more, but it also takes longer to find matches. There’s definitely not as many people playing anymore.

I still connect to matches rather quickly. I just got off of Arena on the Truth map and it was ridiculous how much it happened. Why bother coming out with updates if you can’t keep fluid game play? I totally understand this is going to happen from time to time but this is crazy. Players disappearing and groups of players dancing around the map. I hope they are looking into it that’s all. I still play all the time and I am sure I am not the only one.
I was playing Slayer (which you’d think would be the most populated playlist) last night during US primetime, and I was consistently A. seeing people rubber banding all over the place in every game, and B. hearing Spanish all night. So yeah, something’s going on.
I hate it when the lag causes my shots not to register. I’ve had Spangler prime rockets shot right at a few guys feet like twice and nothing happened to them. So they end up getting the kill.
