With 343, i can’t tell if it’s intended feature, oversight, bug or lag/display error. Anyone saw a comment of this. Thanks.
It happens way too often to me, with practically every type of boss but especially vehicle based ones. I’m guessing its a latency issue. I hope it gets fixed.
Are they being healed by watchers or is it happening when there are no watchers nearby?
My son commented the other day that a mantis boss was healing when it was regaining shields and I don’t think there were watchers nearby so it sounds like a bug perhaps.
Vehicles can regenerate health up to certain points. So just tryihg to do chip damage won’t help since they can regen it back pretty quickly.

Yeah but they regenerate it when not being damaged so keep up that fire spartan. And we can still destroy the enemy core.

yee I know, but not many people realize how important it is to put even a bit of fire occasionally on something like the phaeton bosses when they’re damaged and your team is away, those things heal back up super fast if you let them.
What I have noticed is that once the white bar is gone, which probably means their shields are down, then we start draining their health bar.

Kind of hard to shoot at it if you are dead.
It is just because some bosses have energy shields (in the case of prometheans they have watchers to repair them), once you destroy their shields, then you start to drain their health, but if you stop shooting to them for certain time, their shields will regenerate, their health won’t but you will need to destroy their shields again to continue damaging their health, so the clue is just keep shooting and be coordinate with your teammates.

They entirely regain it without any outside assistance/ The Banshees on Apex or Urban are nice examples of eaters, where I unload Whiplash into them and they regain whatever was done with or without shields, and the feeling of a wasted req plus the AI just regenerating his health is infuriating. At that point, the 4 Banshees are no longer a challenge, just annoying bullet sponges that regenerate health and kill you in about 4-6 shots.
I see some enemies in vehicles get a bit of health back when their shields come back. It’s not the entire health bar though.
Also, promethean enemies can get health regain when watchers are around.
I have only ever had one issue with a health bar and that was a mythic warden. We would get him all the way down to about a 4th of his life (with constant attacks from banshees, a wraith, and many tanks), then within a single second, he’d be at full life.
Well several vehicles have a sort of “armor tier”. Basically vehicles can heal up to their nearest tier, so they don’t just fall apart from the occasional graze or environmental damage. Kinda like how a flaming Warthog can get constantly grazed without dying. That said, its unfitting of essentially raid bosses to have such a feature.
They did that so it wouldn’t be a piece of cake.
I’m kidding btw.

Exactly.
