Seriously, I have been a Halo player since Halo:CE and have enjoyed everyone of the Halo games. The one thing I don’t understand is why there are so many people raging about Halo 4… The game isn’t even close to being released yet and people are taking the 5 minute video talking about it and already hating on it. Can someone tell me why people are like this? I don’t remember anything much like this when Reach was announced.

Because they are afraid of what 343i will do when they haven’t even seen what they are capable of producing. They therefore making rash, inappropriate judgments about the game without and anything to go on except bigotry.

I dont know . Meany of us have been fans of Master chief and Halo for over 10 years now . Meany do not seem to remmember what we have been through together and seem to be uninterested in the greatness that is comming . This video should remind everyone
Because Halo is becoming less competitive each game. They’re pushing away old competitive Halo fans like it’s nothing. We’ve been here for 10 years and they add things that don’t benefit gameplay in any way, but only are there to attract new people.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t get new members, but we shouldn’t sacrifice great concepts and beautiful gameplay to get those people.

Believe it when I say this “outrage” is pretty common. It was true when Halo Reach’s first gameplay was seen, as was Halo 3 and Halo 2. Hell, there was a whole bunch of outrage against the Chief’s look when Halo 2 was announced.

Because people are afraid of progress. They say if it aint broken dont fix it, but i say anything can be made better.

Really? They complained about the look of cheif in halo 2? Geez, i thought he looked great! That may have been the most super-soldier-like he has ever looked.

We all have our reasons. Personally my biggest problem is perks and loadouts. They make it so both sides don’t start even just like AAs in reach

Regarding the Perks and loadouts, I’m pretty sure they will make it fair for everyone. They will probably have matches that don’t use perks or loadouts too.

You can’t make it truly fair. That’s why even starts were perfect, and when Halo:Reach came out it wasn’t improvement to fairness, but an aspect that took away from balance. I thought 343 would learn that even starts are what provide the best balance and fairness to a game, but they want to get more money instead of keeping balance.

But even starts werent perfect. Nothing is perfect. There is always something wrong no matter what you do. Even starts could have been made better in some way, and that is the way that 343 is trying now. The starts will still be even, as no matter what you choose there will always be a way to counter act it.

So what you are saying is that the old ones was a flat plain were everyone had pistols. Because that is what perfectly even is. If someone got a Rocket Launcher by killing their teammate then going on a team killing spree, thats not fair to that team. No matter what, nothing will be perfectly even as long as people are imperfect.

They aren’t sacrificing them, they are adding to them and trying to make it into a new experience without taking out the base of it.

Actually (probably to your suprise) no, what happened was my post is/was asking people why there is so much hate on a game we barely know anything about. But then people started going off topic with AAs and things like that, then after this arguments started. Because of this I called it, Quote: “Even my post has turned into a rage post of sorts” because it has basically turned into a topic within a topic.
