Hello I was just wondering if anyone knew why alot of youtube channels including Bungie, have been reuploading the old halo 3 trailers and other halo 3 related trailers. Does this have something to do with halo 4 or did I miss something.

well they did not totally abandon it. they were tired of 10 years of making only halo games. they wanted to try something new.

It is pretty shocking that they abandoned Halo. But I’m grateful that 343i has taken the franchise.

They can make whatever they want. They don’t have a strict contract. They have a “Lease us alone and we’ll make you money” contract. I can tell you that they probably aren’t working on an average CoD game. If they are working on CoD it’s something like have never seen.

Bungie did not abandon their fans they just became sick of making halo as that is what they had to do far the last 10 years. And just because you see it as crap does not make it so. But the fact that they were tired of it may have contributed as to why they made reach the way they did. But basicly when the game went gold that when bungie had to start their transaction with 343 so 343 had control of engine changes but not playlist and as bungie proved they sorted the playlist removing what was complained about and fixing maps. It was the fact that 343 was working on Halo Anniversary at the time and had the title update planned to go along with anniversary to make reach play as close to halo ce as they could. That is why halo reach did not recieve a tu until nealy a year into its life span. It was not because of Bungie.
