What's up with the Halo 5 armor?

What’s up with the plastic look of the Spartan armor we saw in the beta? Please tell me that it will show some signs of wear in the final product.

The beta armour models weren’t fully textured, but we can get a pretty good idea of what they’ll look like at launch from the Beta Teaser trailer. Have a look at that, 'cause that’s probably what you’re getting.

I honestly don’t care considering the armor design itself is so strong that it looks glorious. I believe they may have said they would add wear and tear, but they are definitely going to change how they look from the beta, as they weren’t even finished from a technical standpoint. It will look better, they just finally need to show some gameplay and we’ll see the progress, and request change from a more informed standpoint when we see what they have when they actually finish the armors look.

Although I’m not a fan of the h5 armory, I have to say it looks better in game than in the armory. In h4 it looked even worse in game

Not as good as H3, and not as great as Reach!

I coudnt care how plastic they look, as long as I get my Mjolnir Mk IV armor…

Reach’s armor design was just awesome. Not a big fan of about 90% of the armor designs in 4.

I really liked the armor design for reach as well. but in my opinion I think 343 should focus on making the body armor look better. it feels like I only care about my helmet when choosing my armor. I honestly think there could be alot better designs for the chests and arms like in reach. The wrist armor was actually pretty cool.
