I don’t know, they wanted to imply stitching and padding when it’s supposed to be a seamless space suit, having these details ruined the visual aestethic of the suit being air tight.

Agreed, I don’t know why 343 has to tack on the extra padding on the hands.

No I agree it should look like the armor
Its supposed to be a seamless nanocomposite undersuit, why does it look like its blody LEATHER?
Then again thats only on some of the armors, the other ones have full armor on the gauntlets.

I’m indifferent about it.
Lol this was actually bothering me the first time I saw them and I didn’t know why, I just felt like I preferred the classic gloves.
But yeah, now I get why I hate them: They look like puffy leather mittens instead of the undersuit. I like how detailed they are though, they just look weird as hell.
The only thing I like about it is that I can easily see what color I am without having to melee to see like in previous games, but I do miss the regular black “gloves.”

I’m not a particular fan of the leather look of the gloves either, for such a small aesthetic detail, it’s one which really annoys me…
