The problem that some folks encounter is that their opinions are laced with offensive or inappropriate content. Being moderated or banned for the offensive part doesn’t mean the person is being moderated for their opinions as well, just that they need to learn to voice them in a more appropriate way.

I encourage you to check out the rules and guidelines if you’re curious about what is and isn’t allowed. Contrary to what you may have heard, instant bans are exceedingly rare, and only occur in continuing and/or extreme circumstances.

The mods here are great. They just do what they’re supposed to. If someone gets banned, it’s for a good reason. If you just make sure to follow the rules, you’ll be fine.
