First off, I am loving the game, but there is one little thing stuck in my craw. It concerns the emblems and not just the fact that they are locked (which is annoying). It seems that quite a few of our old favorites have gotten the boot. Where have the smiley/frowny faces gone, and the target symbol, and (most importantly to me) my beloved Phoenix Shield?
It has been my symbol since Halo 2, all through Halo 3, ODST and Reach. It’s also part of my actual gamertag, which I have also had since Halo 2. If it’s gone, sad day, but I’d like an explanation, 343.

Yes, but it’s not the same logo I’ve used for nearly a decade, and that’s an INSANE amount of work to go through to get a near facsimile of something that was freely offered in previous titles.

There is A phoenix emblem you get at level 130, but it’s not exactly the sheild. Actually, click on Halo Waypoint up on the top left, and then look for your spartan model. Right under it where it says Experience Spartan Ops there is the phoenix emblem.
I’ve never used an emblem. I always toggled off the Seventh Column emblem, making my emblem completely invisible. I have done that ever since I can remember. And now I suddenly can’t anymore.

Yes, that’t the UNSC Eagle, I believe. That’s the same one a previous poster mentioned. I repeat, that it an insane investment of time for something that isn’t even the same icon I’ve used for 8 years of online Halo-ing.
