I did the same from 2008 onwards also using D for my first name and at the time 18. I’ve stopped since then because I no longer feel like advertising my age anymore so I’ve stuck with S-051.
The reason I use S-051 now is because in my group of Halo friends back in highschool so long ago, we all tried to figure out which Spartan II we might based on our personalities and compare them to the Spartans in the books and I was voted most likely to be Kurt so I keep his number as my call sign.
EDIT: Just realized on the website it’ll only show the overarching call sign. In each of the Halo games like Halo 1,2 or 3 classic it appears as 051 or S051.
