…the Gravity Hammer?
I’m not the kind of guy who obsesses over his K/D much at all, but you’d still like it to be respectable. I’m an objective rusher and a bit of an Oddball junkie so my overall ratio has always taken a small hit from that and it doesn’t bother me.
A couple of weeks ago, I tried Grifball for the first time ever and found it to be pretty enjoyable. I get absolutely slaughtered though and my K/D took a nosedive into negative territory. When I say slaughtered, I’m talking -20 in some games. (Though I tend to be the main ball scorer, so it could be my aforementioned objective rushing.) As I played more, I got better at understanding a few nuances of it and have improved some, but I just can’t seem to figure out the range/timing for the Grav Hammer. How far away should I be swinging that thing from in a head-to-head situation?

In all honesty it depends on who has host which is why some people call it Hostball. It varies from game to game so you just have to adapt. Im sure someone else could explain it better, I just die a few times then after awhile I figure out the distance needed in that game and go from there.
It’s funny because even in a objective based gamemode,i still get a positive KD,like right now it’s 2.15 last time i checked
