Im 142. The game is dead until mid evening gmt. Since infinite has no ranking system and I’ve beaten the passes available to me I figured I’d finish my 152 grind for halo 5. Any tips on what the fastest way to rank up is?
In infinite? If so the fasted way to rank up is performing well in matches and doing challenges when xp boosts are on. The best time to activate a xp boost is when you have multiple challenges that align together (so for example you have get 5 kills with the pistol and get 5 kills with UNSC weapons. Easy because the pistol is a UNSC weapon,) and don’t take forever to complete. I have gotten 10 ranks in just maybe 2 to 3 hours doing this but the only problem is after you complete all your weeklies and capstone challenges only you have nothing left to do so you just have to rely on performance on matches now and logging in and playing 1 quick match a day to get the daily 500 xp. Mythic Warzone Firefight offers the most xp per game, and allows you to put warzone boosts, which both are far superior to Arena’s XP output. However, Infection I’ve heard is also good for the xp grind.
however you wont really go super far as the xp MWZFF drops is around 11k-16k. H5 offers legendary booster packs for 5 bucks, giving you 20 legendary WZ boosts (each 11k themselves).

GL on the grind btw. 142 is not that far infact that’s roughly 13% of the way done (I’m at 145, I’m not that far either lol).
Completing Mythic Warzone Firefight matches as fast as safely possible and getting as many bonuses at the end will get you the most xp. I think with a legendary boost I got an average of something like 23,000 xp if I remember correctly. The most I had was 27,000 thanks to bonuses. Without a boost it should be like 15,000 per match.
