What's the point of Zombie Ghosts?

No one ever votes for Zombie Ghosts, and if they do, they never win. Everyone goes for Alpha Zombies, no matter what else is available. Why did they even make Zombie Ghosts? It’s not really fun at all for either team.

Meh, I think it’s alright, and it get’s a fair amount of votes whenever I go into matchmaking.

I don’t know, I don’t have much fun in Zombie Ghosts.

The survivor weapons suck.
Thats why, i’m not a fan of the plasma repeater or the focus rifle, and when put up against a light speed zombie with a hammer, well…

The point is to give zombies a little bit of a better chance .

I don’t have any problems with it, the 'Beam deals with them at range or if they rush you and the rifle sprays them quick and close. Just the same kinda thing with a different twist.

I got 40 kills in one game of Zombie Ghosts, when it actually got voted. the Focus Rifle tears up, and quickly at that. and the Plasma Repeater can kill 1 Zombie somewhat quickly but sucks against more than 1.

they added Zombie Ghosts because they wanted to add a new gametype to add for Living Dead, thus adding variety and spicing the playlist up a bit, but utterly failed. If it wasn’t too late, I’d submit the remakes of Halo 3’s Living Dead gametypes and some new gametypes that I’ve tested multiple times… just never got around to submitting them… sorry guys.

and I don’t understand why ppl don’t pick Zombie Ghosts on Powerhouse. ppl camp hard on the Default maps. and Powerhouse, at the back of it, with a Sniper Rifle against Zombies? I would think that’d get voted instantly every time. but luckily, I don’t have to deal with that because ppl illogically want the lesser, harder win for some reason. oh well.

It’s easy for zombies and easy for humans if you’re a good player. That’s what makes it fun, but noobs, who just want constant kills, vote for every other gametype.

Because normal zombies is too boring. Contrary to what everyone usually says zombie ghosts almost never comes up for me and I always choose it when it does. Rounds end much faster than usual and it’s much harder to stay alive so that discounts people using exploits in maps to get what they want. Normal zombies is really repetitive, so much in fact that I can’t play more than one game of it, but if zombie ghosts comes up I’ll gladly play it as many times as it comes up.

I welcome Zombie Ghosts when I play Living Dead, I love being a Zombie since the average player can’t use the Focus Rifle to save their lives. People who don’t like it are just mad they can’t have their kills handed to them on a silver platter a la Alpha Zombies.

New maps should be added in its unfair when you’re a zombie on Uncaged or atleast have the re-done maps show up more it reduces the camping imo.

Though, if I do have to play it, it’s not bad. It’s a nice change of things.

I think bungie and 343 right now are missing out on bringing back what we all loved of the original halo 3 infection games, and thats the medium size maps with tons of structures, vehicles, grenades, unlimited ammo would be also nice (for both zombies and humans)map variety , moody maps , and just the plain old sense that in the end theres no where to actually run and camp, you know you are going to end up infected but you had a blast trying to find a spot to hold your ground at and try to survive, now its just plain easy to camp it out in small spaces with groups, the maps selected for infection this time around are just wrong , cut the big maps in half, or use some of the new team slayer maps, those could work better with some lower and higher levels… i dont know infection seems like its taking a back seat to the rest of the gametypes…
