none of this crap is rarer than anything else, its all from the store anyway
i guess i can sorta see it for the battle pass? but why does store crap rarity matter
I’ve been asking myself this question of gaming more broadly for as long as the mechanism has been around. But we all know the answer.
They’re just trying to entice people to buy it with fomo.
I think the rare store items appear more often than the epic store items which appear more often than the legendary.
Same goes for the cost of the bundle - legendary items are in the most expensive 2000 credit bundles
So how often they appear and their cost affects the rarity which makes sense
Not an issue to worry about though
Try to think of them as a label of the perceived ‘value’ of the item, as opposed to a rarity. I’m not sure the term rarity is used anyway.
To mentally coerce people into assuming an item has a higher value & incentive it’s purchase.
sounds scummy

I suspect its a leftover from the REQ Pack system of Halo 5, doesn’t work as well here when its all in Bundles, BP’s and no true form of slot machine elements, plus some might find a common to be more cooler than a legendary, rendering the system really pointless in halo’s case.
it doesn’t even make sense in the battlepass seeing as it’s not random in any way
Just a way to emotionally manipulate people. Nothing more, nothing less.
I thought that was obvious.
