If its just going to match you up against people nowhere near your level?
If I’m Diamond 3 in Team Arena… Don’t put me up against high Onyx players for f*ck sakes! And what makes it even worse is that it’ll put people on your team, who are your rank, but are terrible (so they shouldn’t be that rank). The Halo 5 matchmaking system needs some major tweaking.

I agree, you should only be placed with people with 2 ranks (if I’m diamond 1, anyone from platinum 5-diamond 3)
I agree the matchmaking is a little jacked, and I’ve been getting matched against champs every once in a while too. But in your second example the levels aren’t that far apart. I think people get too hung up on the symbol of their rank. In the 2nd example you were a diamond 4 and the poeple you were playing were diamond 6, and onyx 1600ish. The difference between diamond 4 to onyx 1600 is less than a diamond 1 to a diamond 6. You barely lost that game going in solo it looks like. You may have beat those guys with a team.
