Big yup. But some people in this fourm think that " you should just play for fun".
People don’t understand that many people came to Halo to achieve something. Or get better. Or earn something or be apart of something bigger like being on a team or building maps or creating cool customs.
There is quite literally nothing to do.

I have flashbacks to hundreds of games being played all day on all the other halos because it was THAT fun.
There’s still cosmetics you can unlock through ranked. You can get rank stickers to put on your guns.
I even think if you become maxed rank you can get a recon helmet charm. I’ve never seen it in game though so I don’t know if it’s real or not.
I’ve see people with a weird pose lately and it’s not shown as an option. So if your fun comes from unlocks try to look up how you can get hidden ones 
I’ve wondered the same thing about completing the battle pass before season two releases. I guess we have to wait for that winter contingency event to come out. I think it’s coming out this Tuesday or the next? Not sure

It’s going to be like a log in every day and complete a challenge to get a free cosmetic. Hopefully the challenges aren’t too challenging

I shouldn’t have to look up anything. There should be a challenge on the screen that tells me what I have to do in order to unlock items.
I’d say try to get Onyx in comp or go for all the achievements as just extra things to work on, other than that just play for fun and if you get bored take a break and play something else I definitely feel the burnout, hopefully 343 can add a player level system “soon” so there are extra things to grind for.
Yes, for sure. It is well known that this is on the way and it understandably takes longer than a few weeks to implement. What isn’t understandable is how 343 didn’t consider this as part of the original game, it’s not like it is a novel idea that they themselves have never used…
Getting onyx in arena has got to be one of the most boring things ever. Where’s ranked everything else?

Also, no, this is not a dumb response, because outside of weekly unlocks and the timed events there is literally no other reason to play after maxing the BP. If that isn’t reason enough for someone, then, like you said, they can go play a game with a real progression system.
Would you use that same argument against loot boxes? “if people gambling money hurts them psychologically then God help them”?
This has been a contested topic for decades really, but ultimately I would rather they just focus on more content that I want to experience instead. This game lacks content and features, not some long grindy progression system.

They can even have special ranks cos we’re Spartans.
You know what would be wild tho? A Social hub where you can walk around as your MP Spartan in 3rd Person. How cool would that be huh?
That does sound neat. Probably not worth the time to put into game, but still pretty cool.
You can always use theater mode for this, I don’t see it as being too impactful.
I rather they fix BTB and add more maps first too haha.
I still wonder what was the cause of BTB being broken. Its been like that since the 8th right? Wild.
I think 4v4 has enough maps (maybe another good competitive CTF or Slayer map would be gravy) but BTB is extremely repetitive as it is now. Don’t forget that there are multiple weapons in Campaign (Plasma Turret and Scrap Cannon) that aren’t even in BTB yet… A couple more maps for BTB and 1 for 4v4 would be enough for me.
My theory is that the worse maps that a game launches with, the higher the amount of “more maps” complaints are sent. Infinite has a lot of good maps, it just needs a tiny amount more. I don’t want them to remake every single map from every Halo, I don’t want to play 4v4 or 12v12 and have no idea where my purse is lol.
When a new AAA title comes out, “There’s nothing wrong” playing 4 hours a day for a whole weekend to finish it off and enjoy it with a beer + pizza on the side.
But a Battle-pass is designed for a grind of 60-90 hours, if a “player” grinds those 90 hours in 1 week, something very serious must be happening in his life.
If X player is playing 10-12 hours a day it is because he does not have a job, he does not study, he has no social life, he does absolutely nothing but play HALO all day. I think that instead of feeling “pride” in finishing the battlepass, you should think about how to start reading more, working, exercising and doing useful things.
All of this is just assumtipns about how people live their lives
Do you think that for a normal person who has a job of 40 hours a week or a student attending college with 48 hours of weekly school work or people who have family, obligations, will be playing 12 hours a day halo and will burn the battlepass in 7 days?
