Whats the point in this slayer "pro"?

Since they added radar, which was a stupid idea, the only difference between this and regular slayer is that I cant use my storm rifle. Wtf?

so happy it has radar, as it should.

Because being a pro is all about using precision weapons. It has absolutely nothing to do with team work. . .

If you can’t rely entirely on yourself to win then you must be a scrub. There’s just no denying it, man. Callouts? Only trashcans use callouts.

When did I say anything about team work? I can decimate people with my storm in FFA, whats so skillful about precision weapons? Sitting in the back and just sniping?

I’ll take a guess your a dmr fanboy? So your opinion is invalid

And being “pro” doesn’t mean stare at your radar the whole time, the reason it was good before because it always put you on the edge and made you twitchy and listen so you dont get assassinated, im glad i got to play pro before they made this…trashy piece

You’ve really gotta learn to detect sarcasm, hombre.

Just got done playing halo 4, so its rage mode josh right now lol. And you use a BR so your good in my book. XD

If you are referring to FFA: the pro version has always traditionally had radar, simply for the fact that people sometimes spawn right behind, or in front of you and that’s not fun for anyone. Also yes, The point is that you can’t you your storm rifle. Everyone gets the same perks, no AA, and must select a percision weapon, making starts relatively equal, and even more equal after the weapons are rebalanced.

The point is an even playing field without random or unpredictable factors, which presents a situation where you can learn to get better, much more than relying on a lucky roll of the dice or just having the right AA at the right time. It’s about knowing maps and straight out shooting your opponents. Welcome to Halo.

I concur. I can deal with SWAT not having the motion sensor, but in Slayer Pro, it should have been there since day 1.

Okay 1, I’ve played halo for quite some time so no welcome needed but I appreciate it anyway.

2nd I see your point to an extent, I don’t recall playing a pro with radar, unless it was in halo 3 which i didn’t play competitively at all. But in reach I did and the radar wasn’t present.

But at the beginning of 4 they had a pro game type with dmr, br and AR. But still no radar, with 6-8 people the spawning wasn’t that bad though, maybe in reach it was due to the maps being bigger? Beats me, but my point is that I still don’t appreciate having a radar, it doesn’t put me onto my edge when theres the possibility of someone just crouched in a corner with their eyes on the radar waiting with a shotgun.
