With the amount of time Halo 5 has been out, and with all the updates new weapons and vehicles have been added so let’s get a little scientific, what is the best pair of weapons loadout or req 1 variant (so no Nornfang and the Answer) to use in your opinion or vehicle (same qualifications), give a reason why you think so.
Nornfang and blade of glory.
Any Rocket Launcher, Laser or Railgun.

Loadout wise having a BR or DMR and SMG, having a longer range weapon with a short range weapon is a very versatile combo. I always bring a back up SMG when I plan to snipe some baddies.
Sentinel DMR with laser targeter and Recon SMG with long barrel or laser targeter.

I agree it really makes for a brutally effective combination, especially when you know how to use it.
I’d say shotgun with Battle rifle\designated marksman rifle.
AR + Magnum. Or AR + BR. I find myself using the Assault Rifle more often than I do the SMG, primarily due to the extra effective range it offers. Sometimes the Magnum feels a little easier to aim than the BR, but it kinda varies for me.
Most versatile vehicle would probably be either the Wasp or Ghost. The Ghost is passable for anti-aircraft use, but it’s pretty good for running things over and taking out pretty much every ground target short of a Scorpion or Wraith. Wasp would also be one, considering it’s a rather light aircraft, but it’s maneuverable enough for harassing ground troops and powerful enough to have a chance against other aircraft and heavy vehicles. Only thing it’s lacking in is its ability to run enemies over, but it’s definitely possible.

I agree completely except I like the DMR more than the BR, although at closer range SMG reigns supreme
