What's the hardest armor piece to earn?

I stupidly walked on top of one and died

> I would have to say that it is those forearm armor pieces that you earn when you complete your perfection commendation max level. I believe they are the inquisitor variation (?) and they are smooth with two arrows pointing down near where the wrists are located. Anyone seen them? They look sweet as hell . I think you need to get 10 perfections in total. Its Definitely safe to say that a player who has those is truly good.

If the pattern holds true, you’ll need 15 total to get it mastered. 1 for 1, 2 for 2, etc. (1+2+3+4+5=15)

^^^ yea I think u are right. It might be 15 .

OR it might be one of those situation where it skips a couple of ranks (I.e no adept etc. )

Anyways you guys are right. Protector is the hardest.

Thanks.

I’m 2 perfections away from my sweet forearms , which is nice.

I am not doing it wrong, I am just never using them so idc.

Recon armor… oh wait

I don’t think there’s a “hard armor piece to get.” All you have to do is play a lot and you will get everything. That does not include the Locus or Fotus helmet. I have the Protector armor. Was it hard to get? No. Did it take a while? Yes.

^^^ how many perfections do you have ?

I’ve yet to earn a single perfection in this game. Actually, I don’t think I’ve EVER earned a perfection in matchmaking in ANY halo… I feel kinda bad now…

Am I… gasp a NOOB!? faints

No not at all , it just wasn’t your focus and that’s fine. Certain styles of gameplay like camping make for attainable perfections but less medals and commendations in general than a run n gunner. So it depends , both are good players and strategies which actually complement each other well if put together on a team.

Vanguard I believe, I could be wrong though.

Well that’s a relief, I don’t feel so bad anymore. Still, I’m kinda disappointed I’ve never earned a perfection…

Usually I play defensively, getting to a decent-to-well defensible area, backs to the wall, “come at me bro!” Style of play.

Anyway, yeah, protector DRFT is the hardest. Pulse grenades aren’t that hard, but you still have to deal with plasma pistol mastery and you gotta be lucky enough to get a concussion rifle for concussion rifle mastery.

Edit: Spartan laser won’t be easy either… man getting that armor’s gonna be a pain for me…

I already mastered Pulse…

OT: I would have to say Protector DRFT.

I’m at 2/10. Really hard to get perfections.

I’d also say Protector DRFT is the hardest to get.

The green cod-piece is the hardest.

In all my years of playing Halo I only managed one perfection, and that was in Reach. I’m not a good player, but I was lucky that I got matched against a team who was even worse than mine - I believe they were very new to the game. Even then, I didn’t find it easy - it’s very difficult to get through a whole game without dying at least once, even against players worse than you. You need a big dose of luck on your side too.

And ammo

What I have started doing is throwing the Pulse Grenade at the person then using the Suppressor or whatever I might have to weaken their shields and have found that the PG finishes hem off. I only worked this out today but it seems to work so far.

Overcharged plasma pistol shot followed by pulse grenade works too

ive had only two perfections in my halo long career. both in reach. i would have had a third, i was 18-0 running around trying to pick up scraps and avoid full on conflict. run past a clearing in the wall, stuck, betrayal. turns out he threw the plasma at an enemy missed, hit a man cannon came back across the map and stuck me.
