You’ve bought the game and opened it. You place it in the tray and it load to the main menu. What’s the first thing you’ll select/do?
Me: Matchmaking, then Campaign.
I for one will be doing the Campaign. I love the Halo series in terms of story and am wondering how 343 can continue a massive series like Halo. Though it was inevitable for Halo to continue itll be nice to see what story they have crafted from the medium of the series. Then of course: Matchmaking! I mean we all look like upgraded ninjas!
Campaign first. As per tradition.
Going to 2 player co-op with my bro Degen (GT, not actual name) and then start on Infinity (aka the MP). That too, is tradition though this time it won’t be split screen.
matchmaking, for like the 2-3 first days, then coop campain with my mate

Cry. Then feel the screen of my T.V. as the vibrant lights burn out my cornea. I’ll grab my controller with shaking, sweaty hands and go to play the Campaign and as I avidly wait for the first cut scene . . . well that’s what tissues are for

I used to do campaign first, but now I’m going to take a more competitive twist.
I know what most of the community is going to do. Theyll open u the box, insert the disk, and then go complain on the forums about everything they see.
Play campaign. When I see that first cutscene I will cry with joy

I thought of that but i use the Campaign not just for the story but to get used to in game mechanics (the basics really) before playing MP MM and later, see everyone complain about it on the forums despite having a good time myself.
Also; DAT BR. So beast.
Well first I will cry with joy.
Then my bestfriend Jacob(Khan) and I will open up our boxes of Dr. Pepper and prepare our pizza. Then we will start CO-OP Campaign and beat it that night as we have done with every Halo campaign together.
After we die of 5 heart-attacks due to the amazing Halo 4 Campaign, we will spend the rest of our days in Infinity destroying our fellow spartans.

The obvious answer: Campaign. I have been waiting close to 6 years waiting to continue the story of Master Chief. While I enjoyed Reach’s campaign, and it was refreshing to replay Halo Combat Evolved in more modern graphics, it didn’t give me my fix for to get back into that half-ton armor of John’s and killing new enemies with new guns.
Ill be on campiagn, then spartan ops, then forge and lastly mathcmaking.

Mathcmaking is when i put all my expeirience toghether.
I can never do anything else in the game until the campaign is done first. Not only is the campaign a sort of tutorial for multiplayer, but it’s also where the most work and effort is put into a game and it shows. The other modes are just the icing on top.
