I’m toying with the idea of reinstalling this game, but one of the many reasons I uninstalled it to begin with is the ridiculous file size; 100 gigs of a game that I often found too frustrating to be enjoyable. I uninstalled Halo 5: Guardians so I could reinstall Halo: MCC.
Has 343 Industries done anything to address this problem in the past 8 months? I stopped playing shortly before the Overtime update was released, and at that time I believe it was taking up over 95 GB of my hard drive space; and as I’m using an original Xbox One, I do not have a lot of hard drive space to spare.
I wouldn’t call it a problem really. The game is just big, just as big as it ever was.
They did release an update that removed 10 gig from the overall size. Current installs should be about 95gig

Thanks for the answer. I wish they would release another update to take a bigger chunk out of the file size; 95 gigs is still way too big.

I agree. With the original Xbox One it quite literally takes up 1/4 of my space. It’s sad to think that MCC takes up less space and it’s four games combined.
