Leaving matchmaking repeatedly effects the game as it may be enjoyed by others. Leaving repeatedly has penalties associated with it. If you can’t or don’t want to finish a game then be prepared to deal with the penalties.
That’s just the way it is. If you don’t want to search, then don’t.
Because quitters are lame and deserve penalties.

Because by searching the match and playing, you committed yourself to the duration of the match.
If you don’t want to play, don’t search.
