Whats the deal with the customisation / MP.

This isn’t so much a multiplayer concern, but I feel the sheer lack of customisation and the load outs are bringing our favourite game into the CoD era, which isn’t something we ever wanted.

Halo as a game has always been about starting on an equal footing where sheer skill determined the victor and not his pre-set weapon selection. Gadgets / items like sprint are fine and they influence gameplay in new and interesting ways.

But perks and upgraded armour is the stuff of a dedicated FPS such as battlefield and not the Halo franchise. I’m adoring the Campaign and this is quintessentially Halos… It just didn’t need load outs, and making our emblems unlockable was a real kick in the teeth, there was - nothing - wrong with the reach armoury, and this new armoury is gimmicky and limited.

I look like a bionicle or a Mega Blocks toy.

I agree that maybe Halo didn’t NEED load outs, and always did fine without them, however i think they are a welcome addition, and does nothing but add much more variation in the multi-player, i see nothing wrong with them at all.

Not to mention it IS an entirely new team working on this game, so of course they are going to change things up.

Simply because we have custom classes and are able to sprint, doesn’t make Halo any more similar to COD that it ever was.

I see no reason we shouldn’t have custom classes/load outs, and if your only reason is because Call of Duty also has load outs, well that’s just a pathetic reason to not have some choice/variation in a game.

Again, I’ll simply state, new developer, “new” game. Not sure why you expected it to be exactly the same.

If you want it to be exactly the same, go back and play Reach, or Halo 3, or Halo 2, or whatever, they all still exist and i am sure people still play them.

You are probably in the minority that wanted everything to be exactly the same, and i know for a fact IF everything WAS exactly the same as it has been, you’d probably be here complaining that they didn’t change it up enough, if not you you can guarantee many people would of said it, developers get hated on if they change too much AND if they dont change enough, you’ll always get people complaining either way.

The only remedy to your problem, is you. You can stop playing Halo 4 if you think its too much like COD, and go back to playing games you enjoy/that aren’t much like COD.

Not sure about you, but there is more to a good game than “not being like COD”.

Unbunch your -Yoink!- comrade, I’m loving this game, it’s visually stunning, the storyline is absolutely amazing.

However, the MP feels rushed, forced and hammy, as if it is pandering to players outside of the franchise.
