What's the deal with the Blind Skull?

For Halo 4, does Blind have the traditional effects where you can’t see anything at all, or was it modified to where only your HUD disappears, but you can still see your arms and weapon?

Side note: is Save & Quit still a way to get around the effects of the Iron skull, or did they finally fix it?

Not sure if this is true or not, but according to this site, it’s the same as it’s always been. Haven’t seen anything official, though.

As long as birthday party is back there shouldn’t be a problem.
