What's the deal with pulse grenades?

Compared to frags and plasma grenades they don’t seem very effective. What exactly are you supposed to do with them to get kills?

Does anyone here actually prefer them? If so, why?

Pulse Grenades drain your shield when you stand in the ball of FIRE. And finishes you off with an explosion afterwards. They’re are only good in gamemodes such as King of the Hill and Dominion.(In my opnion)

The only cool thing about them is that you actually throw them at players.
What I mean is that they have pretty much no fuse, so once they touch a surface, they… start doing whatever it is they do.
Other than that, they are pretty weak, only good for creating choke points.
IMHO you should get two in the loadout, just like frag and plasma.

I am almost a Pulse Grenade master! Only because I beat down then throw the nade at their feet. :stuck_out_tongue:

You use them to corral people, to block paths and so on.

I don’t get it either, it’s like he’s shouting or something. Some people feel the need to stand out I guess, not sure what the point is though.
